From The Holy Bible In the Light of Kriya:
Moses: The Inward Attention
The sacral center represents the liquid state of vibration (water element). The inner nucleus War between outward attention and inward attention in this center will be between the King of Egypt, Pharaoh, who represents the negative, or outward attention, and Moses, who represents positive, or inward attention.
Moses is found in the river and is declared to be a Hebrew child. The Jew, by character, represents the inward vibration, introverted in nature.
Rom. 2:29 “But he is a Jew (Moses), which is one inwardly.”
Exo. 2:6 ” This is one of the Hebrew’s children (Moses).”
Exo. 2:10 “And she called his name Moses: and she said, because I drew him out of the water.”
Surrender of Ego: Who Am I
As converging sun rays meeting in the focal point fuse into light, fire or energy, similarly, the inward attention of the mind, meeting in the inmost point of the mind itself, fuses from within.
Thus Moses, fusing the mind in its inmost point, kills the ego and thereby attains the higher dimension of Consciousness.
He realizes that he is practically nothing. He raises the question, “Who am I?” The questioning itself proves that knowledge based on personality is relative knowledge or realization, but strictly speaking, relative knowledge or realization is illusion, or ignorance. Until the personality, or the ego is killed, it is not possible to attain true absolute Knowledge, or eternal Realization.
Exo. 3:11 “Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh?”
I Am: The True Name of God
When Moses, that is, the inward attention, comes in contact with the highest state of Consciousness, he receives the proper name of God. God is nothing but “I AM”, the Equilibrium state of pure Consciousness of the ultimate Self.
The term “God” can be doubted by anyone. So “I AM” is the eternal Being as eternal Existence, or eternal Consciousness.
Only when the seeker of truth transcends both the negative and positive vibrations does he then attain equilibrium state of Consciousness as eternal Tranquility, or “I AM”.
Exo. 3:14 “And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and He said, thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, IAM hath sent me unto you.”
So, in the words of God, the true name of God is, “I AM”, which is eternal Being, or eternal Consciousness, for all existences.
The message of the Old Testament is like the other scriptures. It is the message of Self-Knowledge: “I AM” is the truth, or the Lord.
When breath becomes still, the same “I” becomes God as the Self, or “I AM”.
